WuchangShouyiUniversityheld the signing and opening ceremony of training base of the strategic cooperation between the Department of Information Science and Engineering and ChinaSoft International on the morning of Nov. 27th. This cooperation was about the comprehensive specialty reform under industry-university cooperation.

The following people attended the ceremony: Principal Zhou Jin; Vice principal Li Guilan and Guo Jingzhi; Huang Ruiguang, Dean of the Department of Information Science and Engineering; Gu Bing and Nie Bing, Associate dean of the Department of Information Science and Engineering; Li Jiali, the vice president of Education& Technology Group ChinaSoft International in Beijing; Zhou Xing, general manager of EEC of ChinaSoft International in Wuhan; Cai Lei, technical director of EEC institutions; Zhao Xiong, director of College cooperation department of EEC institutions; Fu Tingting, regional manager of College cooperation department of EEC institutions; some teachers and student representatives from the Department of Information Science and Engineering. Dean Huang Ruiguang hosted the ceremony.

It’s reported that in order to promote the comprehensive reform of related specialties in universities and facilitate the industry-university cooperation, 16 famous enterprises including ChinaSoft International were selected to sign the memorandum of educational cooperation respectively with the Ministry of Education to conduct  specialty reform project under industry-university cooperation, which promotes the professional cooperation with enterprises and the reconstruction of teaching contents, optimizes the curriculum system, and upgrades the teaching quality by supporting the conduction of comprehensive reform of related specialties in universities .

Principal Zhou Jin extended the greeting at the ceremony. Firstly, she extended a heartfelt thanks and warm welcome towards ChinaSoft International Education& Technology Group. Principal Zhou Jin introduced that during the past 15 years, the college promoted the application-oriented talents training through constant teaching reforms, innovation of talent training modes and school-enterprise cooperation. At the same time, the college was making unremitting efforts and exploration to meet market demand for talents and build a good platform for students. The college has made gratifying achievements. With the opening of the Internet+ era, the global demand for IT professionals is growing. How to further narrow the gap between college training and business demand for IT talents is the direct cause of the joint efforts to apply for this project under the Ministry of Education. Principal Zhou Jin expected the two sides to seek deep cooperation, focusing on curriculum design, talent and teachers training, in order to create a benchmark for IT talents.

Li Jiali, vice president of ChinaSoft International, delivered a speech. After describing the basic situation of enterprises, she addressed that the comprehensive specialty reform under industry-university cooperation promoted by the Ministry of Education coincided with ideas "Internet +" and "public entrepreneurship and innovation," which was put forward by the Prime Minister Li Keqiang. ChinaSoft International would provide the institutions with capital, technology, platforms and jointly train application-oriented talents to achieve the advantages of university-enterprise integration and mutual benefits.

Principal Zhou Jin and vice president Li Jiali formally signed a cooperation agreement and held mutual certificates. After the signing ceremony, ChinaSoft International visited the experimental center of the Department of Information Science and Engineering.

ChinaSoft International was listed inHong Kongin 2003, and it mainly engaged in IT technology services, consulting services, IT outsourcing and IT training, whose business involved a number of sectors including e-government, finance, manufacturing. ChinaSoft International EEC, as supply platform of talents, launched the mode of school-enterprise cooperation in 2005, using its experience and resources to actively practice the training model "government, industry, academia" to train a large number of high-quality application-oriented software talents.
