On November 16, Director Chen Weiping, Director Liu Ruixue and Mr. Huang Wei from the Science and Technology Bureau of Hongshan District visited our university and inspected the students’ entrepreneurship base. Principal Zhou Jin, Deputy Party Secretary Zou Xinglu, and principals from Director Office, General Office of the University, Communist Youth League, International Education Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Students’ Innovation andEntrepreneurshipCentersparticipated in the reception.

Principal Zhou Jin gave a warm welcome to the leaders from the Science and Technology Bureau of Hongshan District.

Deputy Party Secretary Zou Xinglu reported the execution of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship in our university from several aspects, such as organization and security, implementation and effect, financial support, human resources, management and system, the development of the base and so on.

Associate Dean from International Education Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Huang Ying reported the work and plans carried out in the Department. She said that the institute mingled modern high-tech with the concept of “Internet +” to create cloud incubators base and cloud service platform and made an effort to create an integrated online and offline service platform for students’ innovation and entrepreneurship.

Director Chen Weiping favored the students’ innovation and entrepreneurship in our university. He said that the establishment of university students’ entrepreneurship base met the needs of the university to cultivate talents and the national economic transformation. He also expressed his expectation that our university make a further optimization for material resources, human resources and policy resources to set a good example for university students’ entrepreneurship in Hongshan District.

Chen Weiping expressed that the Science and Technology Bureau of Hongshan District would further strengthen interaction and cooperation with our university and intake our university students’ innovation and entrepreneurship base into the entrepreneurship special management of Hongshan District. He said that, once this confirmed, our university would benefit from relevant policies of Hongshan District and could participate in related selecting activities, from which it would get more policy and financial support if it won the selection. Meanwhile, He reminded that while encouraging students to initiate entrepreneurship, the university should guide the students to avoid entrepreneurship risks.
