Visiting New Students

“Welcome to Wuchang Shouyi University!” With a warm greeting, student volunteers accepted luggage from freshmen, guided them to the orientation points of their departments for registration procedures. The self-help registration program and passionate service from volunteers impressed new students and their parents most. A shining point of the 2016 registration system is that new students can finish the registration process using the new self-help feature in the summer ahead of time. Since the self-help system launched last year, the university has constantly updated its functionalities. Compared to 2015, the system opened up earlier, lasted longer, and operated more perfect and stable. Through the self-help service, 80% freshmen finished tuition fee payment, dormitory selection, military training clothes selection and commodity choices ahead of time.

At 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the president Zhou, Jin, the vice president Li, Guilan and Jin, Guojie and other related department leaders went to west dormitory to visit new students. In the dormitory, principals of university got warm welcome from students. President Zhou had some small talks with students. She told them that anyone who encounters problems or difficulties in their lives or study can contact dormitory officers and teachers directly and our university will to solve them as soon as possible. 

At 5:30 pm, under the high attention of all principals and the efforts of all the teachers and students, the 2016 orientation ended successfully.
