On Octorber 14, supervision commissioner of supervision department of General Office of the State Council Qingde Fu, deputy researcher Lei Yu, deputy director of the scientific office of Shanghai Department of Educational Sciences Jianfeng Fang, director of supervision department of Hubei Province Government Yu Guo, Deputy director Jun Tao, principal staff member Xubo Yao, and officer of development planning office of Hubei Provincial Department of Education Linchun Xing came to our university to research the current development of private colleges. They also listened to our appeal of education teaching, education management and other related aspects. The director-general of WSC Guohua Jin, the secretary of the party committee Xiangdong Feng, the executive vice president Changlin Wu, the vice president Guilan Li, Guojie Jin, and the vice secretary of the party committee Xinglu Zou participated in the meeting.

The group of Qingde Fu visited library, information technology center, training base of numerical control, conference hall, laboratory building of information science and technology, indoor stadium and dormitory in company with main principals of our university. After the visiting, the group of Qingde Fu and main principals of our university had a meeting together. The director-general Guohua Jin expressed a warm welcome to the group of Supervision Department Officer Qingde Fu of General Office of the State Council and expressed appreciation to the fact that the research group chose WSU as a sample of private universities to carry out the research work. The director-general Guohua Jin introduced the university history, educational philosophy, the core team of teaching management and difficulties and challenges during different historical development period. Secretary Feng mentioned in the meeting that, the mechanism of private universities is different from the public universities. He hoped that relevant departments could develop special management evaluation system in accordance with the features of private universities. He believed that with the support and the help of relevant departments, private universities could promote a sustainable development.

The group of Qingde Fu also learned the size of school education, the size of students, the development of teachers’ team, students finance and loan, and logistical support.
